Coral Knobs
Coral knobs are the smallest elements of Bermuda's reefs.
They are intergrowths of coral, algae, and associated organisms of up to
5 m across and rise up 1 to 3 m above the surrounding sand-floored interareas.
Coral knobs are dominantly Montastrea spp., Diploria
spp. and Porites astreoides.
