Reef Types

The reefs of Bermuda are formed from; aggregates of coral, associated organisms and skeletal debris. They can be divided into 5 types of reefs based on their morphology, size and relief: (1) Coral Knobs, (2) patch reefs, (3) pinnacle reefs, (4) table reefs, and (5) ledge flat reefs.
