STEGOSAUR EVOLUTION

Tuojiangosaurur, Paranthodon, Lexovisaurus and Stgosaurus are the most derived members of the stegosauridae family, they are distinguished from chungkingosaurus and chialingosaurus by having a low skull profile; plate-like osteoderms along the back; sacrum; and reduced or obliterated openings on the dorsal surface of the sacrum.
