| There is evidence suggesting that Pink Lake is actually a dimictic Lake. A dimictic lake is one which mixes twice a year, in the spring and fall. During the summer and winter there is thermal stratification, and therefore no mixing occurs. Dimictic lakes are much more common than meromictic lakes. |
