My name is Clare O'Dowd, and I am a third year honours geology major at Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

As for my topic, I am not yet sold on the idea of life on Mars, but I am sure that there is still much more to come. Who knows, perhaps we are not alone after all.

I will have another web page coming out very shortly that may be of interest. It is about the the fourth year field trip from which I have just returned. Our class consisted of senior undergrads and graduate students from Ottawa and Carleton University. We had the pleasure of studying carbonate reefs and volcanoes in the Caribbean for two weeks. The entire class should have a joint production comming out soon. STAY TOONED!
