Community Life
- Hadrosaurs were blessed with few natural defenses, therefore, as a means
for survival, living together was an important factor in their success.
- Evidence for community life comes from several sources such as nesting
sites which contain eggs, unhatched babies and remains of juveniles have been discovered in a
number of places.
- In 1987 a discovery at Devil's Coulee (southern Alberta) of a dinosaur
rookery have been made. Baby dinosaur bones were found in abundance and nests seem to have
been built in an exposed location. These nests were probably protected by adults.
