Archaeopteryx had teeth and retained claws on its forelimbs, so its dinosaur
connections are unquestionable. It looks very much like a small, meat-
eating dinosaur.
Thus, many modern taxonomists have difficulty placing
Archaeopteryx on the main line of descent of birds.
