Liagora farinosa

Light buff or pinkish in colour. Some may calcify into coral-like structure, others remain soft. Branched, cylindrical algae formed of multiaxial filaments with dispersed calcification. Texture of tangled yarn, somewhat slimy. Growing on rocks in sheltered locations or on old coral reefs.
