Callyspongia vaginalis:

Clusters of large, thin walled tubes, up to 25 cm. Surface of most species covered by pronounced cone-shaped projections ("spines", conules). Spongy elastic, grayish green to lavender.

Most abundant in outer reefs and inshore patch reefs,1-5 m.
