MARINE MICROPALAEONTOLOGY AND ARCHAEOLOGY
The purpose of the research at Montague Harbour is to increase our understanding
of the spatial distribution of the various culture types with respect to
fluctuating sea levels in the Strait of Georgia region; and to demonstrate
the value of using micropalaeontological techniques in marine archaeological
site analysis.
Hopefully these techniques will continue to be useful at the Montague Harbour
site and prove to be advantageous in future archeological studies.
