El Niño ~ An Overview

Some of the effects of El Niño are heavy flooding in the eastern Pacific along the west coast of South America, and drought in such places as Australia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, southern India as well as parts of Africa. The fact that this phenomenon has proven itself to reoccur periodically just reassures us of its strength and capability to affect the global climate on a world wide scale.
