There is no direct evidence to indicate whether Deinonychus was a doting parent but there is evidence that small Theropods tended their nests possibly incubating or at least guarding the eggs. An example of which is Oviraptor, a small Theropod that was preserved while sitting on a clutch of its own eggs (Farlow et al, 1997).
