Species

In the Hog's Back Formation the brachiopods Lingula sp. and Rostricellula plena are found. (Hall 1847) In the Pamelia Formation the following conodont species have been found: Curtognathus sp., Erismodus sp., Glyptoconus sp., and Phragmodus flexuosus Moskalenko (McCracken 1995). Biostratigraphically diagnostic conodont fauna include P.flexuosus Moskalenko which corresponds to Chazyan through early Blackriveran age (McCracken 1995). Orthocones Stratoceras sp., S. pictolineaus Foerste(Wilson 1961) of Blackriveran age also indicate different strata.
