Torosaurus -described by Marsh, 1891 (Dodson, 1996). Torosaurus is known as the "bull lizard". It has parietal fenestrae, and a long, narrow squamosal lacking in scallops, bumps, or epoccipitals (Dodson, 1996). Its nasal horn is short and compressed, and it has large postorbital horn cores. Regrettably, Torosaurus has remained a rare and rather poorly known horned dinosaur (Dodson, 1996). |
