Anchiceratops
-described by
Brown, 1914 (Dodson, 1996). Anchiceratops means
"almost Ceratops, ornate". It has an impressive
frill, and a pair of long postorbital horn cores that
diverge laterally and curve forward (Dodson, 1996).
Anchiceratops has a long and broad flat crest, and
very coarse epoccipitals. It has fairly small parietal
fontanelles and a distinctive pair of short, knob-like
processes on the top of the midline, at the caudal border
crest (Dodson, 1996).
