It is quite rare to find vertebrates
within Amber simply because they are usually strong enough to
escape a flow and their brains are smart enough to realize that
they are dangerous, (if the flows are large enough).
Dominican? Amber; 1.7 inch in length.
The first photo is a picture of Dominican? Amber
which contains a gecko lizard; (Spaerodactylus sp.)
that broke its back in 2 places, probably while trying to escape the resin.
The second photograph is a X-ray of the same piece.
