Currents

Bermuda is under the influence of two main ocean currents, the Gulf Stream and the Florida currents. These currents not only control the climate, but also the marine flora and fauna of Bermuda. The currents act as a transporting agent bringing hardy Caribbean and Bahamian flora and fauna to the Bermuda area in a constant "seeding and reseeding" process.
