Air Temperature

The mean monthly maximum air temperature of Bermuda (based on U. S. Meteorological Squadron data from 1941-1967) varies between 66.6 degrees F (February) and 85.0 degrees F (August). Mean daily minimum temperatures vary in a comparable manner, that is, 58.9 degrees F in February and 76.9 degrees F in August. In contrast, a true Caribbean type tropical island is usually associated with a much narrower temperature range. For example, the average annual temperature range in Barbados is 3.9 degrees F.
