PALEOECOLOGY OF THE

 CHAMPLAIN SEA

Studying the fossils of the Champlain Sea is an important method of unraveling its history, as they tell much about the paleoenvironment, the environment in which they existed when alive. Both vertebrate fossils and the fossils of invertebrate macro and microorganisms all contain valuable information.  Some of this information will be discussed in the next few pages.
